IMO, it shouldn't be in OT.

I think it should stay. The occasional "news" thread in OT is acceptable. If there were no "news" threads, the people of ATOT would have no idea what was going on in the world around them. They don't tend to venture to other areas of AT. 😉

Plus, there are many fans of 24 who most on ATOT, so they benefit from that thread.

a lurker. you don't have to have a lot of posts to know what's going on.

I'm one of the only primarily PN members I know (who isn't a returning member) who started posting there before graduating from 'junior member'.
