I have a 1 Ghz. P III and just changed motherboards and I am gettings CPU temps in the 41C to 51 C. Are these temps OK? I have a system temp of 38C. Appreciate any replies on this and have a good day. Thanks!

If that range of 41°C to 51°C denotes your idle to load temps you are just fine. The PIII will run fine in that range without any problems.

Yes my idle temp is around 41c and load temp is goes around 44c alway the up to 51c. I had looked around on Intel's site but could not find any good info on this and was not sure what the range for operating temps should be. Thank you for the reply. Do you know what the recommended operating temps are and where I could get info on this? Ciao!

All the info you want is on Intels' site but it's a PITA to find it sometimes. This chart has a lot of the info that you'd find scattered all over Intels' site but it's all in one handy location. Scroll down about 50-55% of the page to get to the PIII section. All the information shown in the chart is compiled right from Intel datasheets and is as close as you'll get to what you're looking for, at least from Intel.
