What kind of car do you normally drive?
What are you driving now? I'd be happy to take the DeVille off your hands for the weekend. 🙂Originally posted by: Mill
Thank God they had someone return a loaner. I couldn't even park that Deville at work. I just got back from doing a server move and picking up the new loaner.

I took my car if for service, and they had all the other Audi and Porsche loaners tied up. I received an 04 Caddy Deville! That sucker is just MASSIVE. 17mpg cruising on the interstate, and it actually has some go with the V8 Northstart. I just hate parking it.

After owning a 1995 Cadillac STS in the family I won't own another Cadillac. The thing was garbage from the tail lights to the headlights. I will say that when it did work, it was a great car. Felt like a 4cyl though, revved high and never reacted well unless it was hammered. Traction control system went out in 98 or so, never got it fixed. Many wiring problems all over the car, and the transmission was a flop. The bolt for the idler pulley snapped, leaving a bolt in the block with no head to take it out with. We used a shorter belt and simply bypassed it. I could list more problems, but it'd be a lengthy post then 😛

Only 17 on the freeway? Those old American cruisers should get at least 22 on the freeway. My 280 hp Lincoln gets 26 mpg at 75-80. Something was wrong with that Caddy.

Hey, this car was nice, but it was just too big.
