Hey brudda, the Asus P4P800 Deluxe is gettin' a lot of lovin' from users/overclockers, and $130 ain't bad new, of course you'll probably find one used for less you freakin' ferengi :D

Just a quick look showed the MAX2 with 4SATA the MAX3 with 6SATA and the MAX3 has the sweet MOSFET cooling system also.

Pretty much if you go with Abit - IS7 v1.2, IC7, IC7-Max3, or Asus P4P800/P4C800 series you will not be disappointed. Your 2.8 will probably not ever reach 270FSB (14 x 270 = 3780mhz) which is the bare minimum any of these boards can achieve. Also DFI boards can hit 300FSB.

Asus P4C800-E or EPoX 4PCA3+
That's all you should consider if you want a great overclock.

Had all the listed boards above. And I mean it, I did have them all! Best overclocker by far is my p4c800E-dx. I also have the DFI LanParty 875B, and it is running pretty good as well. 1:1 overclocking is not as good on the DFI though.
