hey guys

i have 2 working p-3 systems,or i should say HAD,

both are slot 1- when i put the cpus in and connected the back

power cord they both came right on,didn t touch the start buttons

and also got no display, i checked the 550e and it wasn t seated

properly, problem solved, one done----the next is a p-3 850 on a p3v-133

and it has the same symptons,--instant power and no video, do i have to clear the cmos??

the cpu is on, vid-card fires up, HD spinning away but i got nada on display

thanks

It was working and stopped?

Do you get the post beep? That would mean the basics work, ram, vid detected & cpu.

If its new, clear the cmos & reseat the slot cpu & ram plus recheck the motherboard power connectors. Make sure the monitor is ON too.

this rig has been the tryed and true work horse,

its side by side with my other p-3 rig,

it was working 100% i swapped cpus

i get no beeps but everything is comming on

i switched every card, cpu, monitor, with the other

and still no video, im thinking a bad agp slot,

that all i can think of

no onboard video and yes cleared cmos

using an elsa gts-2, THE P3V133 IS the first edition of the mighty P3V4X

like i said only the cpu was swapped and its working just no display

is it possible to put in a PCI card and disable the agp? not that id keep it

that way at least id know its the agp slot, and the worst part is the vid

fires up too, blue orb blareing and it heats up just like normal--BUT NO DISPLAY

:confused::D:confused::D:confused:

Give it a shot and see if you can get video again. At least it would let you get into the BIOS and go from there.
