just got the 45gb back and i popped it in. the gay stuff happens. win2k format doesnt work in ntfs or win2k. so i pop it into win98 command line and fdisk shows 11gb free, 45 avail. i go delete to allocate the free space and only lets me create 11gb MAX. so i try to format that and it gives me media error. so i go back to win2k and run parition magic 6 and it gives me error 307 whatever that is. so now i just popped it into my sisters and let win2k setup format it in NTFS and hopefully it will format it correctly.
funny thig though, i ran DFT and no error.. it gave 0x00 return. meaning i guess, no error. on basic and advanced tests. the drive is refurbished. possible bad drive?
