Oww

I just drank a glass milk for the first time in, well, forever, cause I decided to try mixing my whey protein in milk instead of water. Now I feel like gagging. F*ck.

Eh, isn't a huge deal. I'm lactose intolerant...just gives me the runs 🙂 'Course, I don't drink milk cause of it..but considering all the bad stuff about milk that isn't exactly a shame, although I do miss it with some foods.

I think I am to some certain extent too. It's weird. Some cheese I hate and it makes me feel sickish but I love milk. Heat cream in the microwave and you'll puke.

According to my anthropology teacher, human's digestive system hasn't evolved to accomodate milk yet, maybe for a few people, and growing babies, but thats it.

the ability to digest milk after infancy is a genetic mutation. the norm is to lack this ability.

The genetic mutation actually occured (if I remember my bio and maybe discovery/history channel correctly) in Northern Europe. Then it just made it easier for people to pass on the gene since it would allow for a greater selection of food.

Thats why asian people are more lactose intolerent, because dairy farming started in europe. I, btw, am of eastern european decent and can drink a gallon of milk in a day and be fine.

I love milk and dairy products, but I can't properly digest it. So ya, it sucks being lactose intolerant. I love cheese.
