Owners of Sony Vaio 460/B please help need advice

I have currently put a 460/B on hold at COMPUSA. I need a laptop that falls below 5lbs. Looks stylish, LCD just the right size and brightness, and a nice graphics card. While this Vaio is pretty much perfect. I've heard mostly bad reviews about the heat/fan noise/and battery issues. Are these issues really a deal breaker?



 
Sony makes decent laptops.

How much for that Sony?
