I am sure everyone here has at least heard of the dot com company Pet.com and perhaps even contributed to their success/failure as a dot com.

Here is a chance to own their mascot the sock puppet.

Pet.Com Sock puppet $9.99

I bought one of these from Pets.com a few days before they went under. They never even charged me for it. This was one company I really hated to see go.

For those of you who don't know this is what they did with more than 20 tons of their dog food rather than have the liquidators get hold of it.

I might have made the same choice were I in his shoes. But it's soooooo much easier with other people's money...

I think I may have contributed to their failure..

When Pets.com was alive, I always had at least 2 pets.com boxes on my porch every day.

I've got enough worthless stock certificates to remind me of Pets.com. I don't need no freaking hand puppet to remind of me that POS .com!

Didn't go all the way through checkout, but it seems to come up okay for me.

Where do you enter coupon codes at compgeeks? I got to the point where I had to enter my CC# and I didn't see any place to enter a code. Did I miss it somewhere???

Thanks

They give you like 3 opportunities to enter a coupon code. It's in a big red box right in the middle of the page.
Maybe you should go here and get your eyes fixed. ;) :p

Hmmm... not for a first time user. I add items to my cart, click "proceed to checkout", I then have to "register" at which point I'm required to enter my CC info. At no point up until then do I see any big red box. There is a reddish-box at the bottom of the registration page (right under the CC Payment box) that says "Order Comments", but nothing about coupons.

I'll go see if I can register for an account without having to buy anything. Then maybe I'll see it.

EDITWell, I can't find a way to register without "buying" something, so after putting some stuff in a cart, I set up some bogus info and registered (with COD so I didn't have to enter a CC#), and I got to a page with a bright red box for a coupon code right before I submit the order. Got it! :) Question#2, is there a way to stack codes?
