Own a DVD player but no movies

Am I the only soul on Earth that owns a DVD player but not any movies? I bought my SD1600 last October and I have zip, zilch, zero DVDs...all I do is rent at the local BB. I never understood why you'd want to buy a movie...I'll buy music albums because I can listen to them anywhere dozens of times, but you can't say that about a movie. Dunno, must have a different state-of-mind.

i watch movies over and over so i buy them on dvd if ilike them they costs like $10 so its like renting them twice

I've owned a dvd player for about 4 years and I own no movies. 🙂 I used to have over 200+ but decided to sell them and just rent the movies when I want to watch them. If I ever graduate from college I'm probably start collecting again.

I used to own some movies but no DVD player. I finally bought a DVDROM a few months ago. I'll be getting a set-top player soon.

You should've bought a DVD-ROM drive for cheap and rented/bought movies for the price difference. 🙂

I'd say buy some concert DVDs. If you have a good stereo, it'll be like you're actually there. Some of my favorite DVDs are concert DVDs.

When I got my notebook with the DVD and tv-out we bought a few dvds.
*sigh* My Gone In 60 Seconds cd is scratched and won't play anymore. Was my favorite cd.

I own almost every disney DVD there is.

I enjoy watching the extras, and I can watch a movie several times.
