It seems very Mass Effect like to me. A story-focused action RPG with choices and consequences, where you play the role of a ship captain and gather a crew.

The devs are saying you will be able to bring two teammates with you on missions, but that the rest of your team will play a part in the missions, so think of the suicide mission in Mass Effect 2.
