Owie--Stubbed my toe

Running around a corner and I slammed my foot into a door frame. Now my pinkie toe is bleeding and the nail is half ripped off. Should I rip the nail off completely or let it fall off?

Oh, and ouch. Hurt my second or third toe from the big one while riding a bike (motorized type). It hurt for a few weeks and turned black. Now a month later, it is still black, but at least the nail hasn't fallen off yet...

Maybe I do, maybe I don't. I'm no expert. I measured my right foot at 11in/28cm, my pinkie toe at 1 3/8in /3.5cm, and the one next to it at 2in/5cm.
