Whats so different about these 2 SSD's..?

On AnandTech's SSD Bench, the OWC is listed as having the (SandForce-1500 Controller) but as of recent OWC uses the (SF-1200 Controller) on all their SSD's now..
And the OCZ Vertex 2 (100GB) uses the (SF-1200SE Controller)..
What is (SE)..Special Edition or sumtin..Whats so special..??

Anyway, does anyone know whats so different or similar about these 2 SSD's other than OWC offers a (5-YEAR Warranty) for their SSD instead of (3-YEARS)..??

Im curious to see a Side-by-Side comparison of these 2 SSD's like they have here: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/140?vs=152
But with Current & Updated: Specs/FW/Controllers..!!!

Anybody have any info on this at all..?

Just a thought... OCZ probably does many multiples of OWC in SSD sales each year. I bet OWC is great, but price being equal I'll take OCZ anyday (I have 4 of their Indilinx SSDs and a 120GB Sandforce Agility 2 at this point). Usually bigger drive makers have better support although this isn't always the case.

Well does anyone know if there are any test comparisons of these 2 drives anywhere on the web..
I would like to know how they measure up to one another..??

we had this discussion in your earlier thread. Go to that for reference. Quick summary: You will not see any difference between any of the Sandforce SF1200 drives. buy whatever is cheaper, better warranty and support.
