First time I ever got a filling, half my face is numb. How much longer until it gains back feeling?

2-3 hours. Just make sure you don't bite your tongue off and swallow it 😛 YOu should start getting feeling back within an hour, but it should be normal by 3 hours.

Depends on how much anasthetic they used. Probably an hour to two.

The only cavity I ever got I didn't use anesthetic. Drilled it, filled it, good as news. Very small cavity and uses that white stuff to fill it.

Be happy if the anaesthesia took and didn't require more then the one needle. I have one area of the mouth that require 3 applications. It's so much fun when you can't feel your nose but itches.

Even my teeth are numb. I'm afraid to eat anything. Ironically, as soon as I got home I almost ate a Hershey bar without thinking.
