No, really. I flew from LA to Seattle on Saturday night, and my ears popped during the flight. That's normal. Only thing is, when we landed, my right eardrum repressurized, my left eardrum didn't.

So, basically, I can hear fine out of my right ear, but my left ear just sounds... clogged, I suppose, because it's not pressurized correctly. If I sniff really hard (ha ha), I can equalize it, but it goes right back to being unpressurized.

I've tried Sudafed (to clear the little tubes that control ear pressure) and working my jaw back and forth, but nothing's worked. Any suggestions?

I have found that if you equalize like when your diving you wont run into this problem....
The way I equalize is to hold my nose closed and try to blow through it every few minutes upon decent that keeps me nice and equalized.

BTW I flew for years before I learned this and it was always very painfull.

I have Eustachian Tube Dysfunction really bad, when I came over from Hawaii I felt like my ears were going to explode and that was when I was 5, I've never stepped foot on a plane since, and I dont think I ever will again. What you describe usually goes away after a night of sleep. I get that problem every time I go to Taho, and it always goes away after a night of sleep and a few deap yawns.

Zak, did you click the link? Plenty of what to do there.

Haha, yeah, I did. Funny thing is, I sat down to watch Exit Wounds with a friend and go through some boxes of old stuff, and I realized after about an hour that I didn't notice the difference anymore - both ears are still a little weird, but I think they'll straighten out after another day or two. Thanks!
