Hah, I wonder how long he got away with it for, and how good the image quality was.
Student voyeur admits six charges
A university student who secretly filmed women in the bathroom at his halls of residence in Bangor has admitted six voyeurism charges.
Charles Greaves, 19, from Wellington, Shropshire, hid a tiny digital camera inside an adapted shower gel bottle.
He admitted three counts of installing equipment to gain images for sexual gratification and three more of viewing images for sexual gratification.
He will be sentenced at Caernarfon Crown Court on 7 September.
Magistrates heard at first Greaves tried to film women in the shower in the bathroom of the mixed Emrys Evans hall.
But the former student, who was described as an "overweight loner", failed to get good quality images and put a sign on the door asking all students to take baths instead.
The University of Wales, Bangor has offered counselling to students who may have been affected by Greaves' offences.
A Bangor University spokesman said: "Following the guilty pleas the university will now deal with the matter formally through our internal disciplinary procedures."
