I am using an Epox 8RDA+ motherboard which allows you to adjust the voltage control for the AGP slot, would bumping it up .1 or .2 help me get a faster stabler overlock, or will that just burn the whole thing out?
it could help with overclocking but you have to be EXTREMELY careful. it's safer than volt-modding IMO, but i still wouldn't do it without adding some cooling to the card.
Any other opinions on this? will upping the voltage on My GeForce4 TI 4200 by .1 or .2 volts help me overclock more, and if so would it cause problems with the card?
I have tried adjusting VAGP on several cards and motherboards, and it has never done anything for me, so I just leave it at stock. You won't know until you try it for yourself, as raising it a tad won't hurt anything.
