Isn't the default voltage of an Athlon XP 1800 supposed to be 1.75 volts?

I've had some general instability problems with my system and it is pretty sporadic, but I think I found the issue. The jumpers on my mobo set to CPU default but when I run Sandra it reads 1.81 volts, the BIOS shows 1.8 volts.. If the jumpers are set to 1.75 the figures in the reported figures don't change. I'm not too interested in OC'ing at this point, I just want 100% stability. What bothers me is that the system used to be 100% stable when I originally built it. When I moved, the new place was much warmer. The room can get up to 85 degrees sometimes, so it may have brought some heat problems due to the overvoltage to light.

Is there any other way to force the voltage down? The jumpers aren't doing it. I can't change the setting in the BIOS. I'm kinda stuck unless I get a new motherboard.

:) I just built system using the A7N 266-VM and I was getting errors and strange behavior:( It was the power supply that came in the Evercase(300 watt) that I purchased from NewEgg,I installed a 330watt Antec True Power =no more probs :) This is most stable system I have ever built.
