Hmmm. I don't know what is going on, but it seems I can't raise the RAM voltage above 1.85. It gets unstable, and simply won't boot on anything above 2.0. Strange. But oh well, the system is stable with my E6400 @ 2.6, and I'm happy with it.

The Asus site is confusing. Where do I go to find which memory is compatible with this board?

I've been waiting for the AnandTech review of the original board since November and simply don't have the patience to keep waiting - I've ordered the Plus board with a Q6600 CPU to start my build.

I've had the XFX 8800 GTX and 2Gb OCZ Flex XTC memory sitting on my table since last year. This is my first build, so I'm holding my breath I don't screw this up.

Wish me luck,
JP

Hello guys!

After a week without MOBO (died in BIOS flash), I've finally managed to OC to 400 FSB (3600Mhz) with BIOS 0602, that solved my Vcore probs.
Northbridge is set to 1,62V, anything less makes the comp freeze... and that makes it really really hot...

I have this board and it would be a great board had it not been for the fact it wont work with all slots filled.

This only seems to effect 1gb ddr2 800 sricks though. if you fill all slots it wont post if you fill 1,2 or 3 it will.

Asus havent replied yet, so i suggest if you ant this board dont fill all slots.

If it were not for this fault it would be an outstanding peice of kit....a the the moment it is useless.
