Overstock build for creative build

The thread, " how long has your computer last", got me thinking of using some over stocked item's for my new workstation. Here's what I got laid out...

Asus P8Z77-V LK LGA mainboard
Intel Xeon E3-1230 V2 processor
Crucial CT3739957 16GB kit 8x2
NVIDIA Quadro K4000 graphic card
Super Flower Leadex 750W PSU
WD Black scratch drive
Intel 520 240GB OS & app drive
Slackware 14.1
AFT XM-37U USB 3.0 card reader

This will.be a nice upgrade. Waiting on customer, if they decline, my new box.

Is your workstation for 3D modeling, or might it be better to sell the Quadro to get a new GTX 970?

I got it for a build that got delayed. Didn't matter anyway, the lady called me today and finally wants me to proceed. 3D modeling, entry level. I still have a couple more of that board and CPU. I thought I was going to get stuck with it but she came through after all.
