I just finished my build and I am working on my drivers. I just installed the video drivers and it now has a black border around the edges which I have learned is called overscan now my question is how do I get rid of it? Thanks

Edit I am using a 7850 GPU attaching it to my ASUS monitor with an HDMI cable

There's a function in CCC to adjust that effect.
My digital flat-panels --> Scaling options. That should fix it.

unless your monitor has speakers, there is no reason to be using hdmi. going to dvi eliminates the need for tweaking the overscan setting.

I'll second gorobei. Don't use HDMI, use regular DVI connectors instead. DVI is more reliable, capable of displaying higher resolutions, and won't present issues like the ones you're having now.

Unless his monitor doesn't support DVI. Sadly thats still not uncommon in modern monitors..
And I'm pretty sure DVI/HDMI support the exact same resolutions.
