overly sensitive alarm draining battery?

is it possible? I've had to replace my battery like every 2 years and I can only think of the overly sensitive alarm but that doesn't seem like it takes a lot of juice

That's more often the average IMHO. I just replaced mine after 4 and it was cheap $40 POS.

those systems do draw on the battery constently

Just my keyless entry draws about 12mA
