I've got an MSI-8837 GF2 MX 64MB SDRAM card that I'm looking to O/C. I applied CoolBits and went into the control panel. My slider starts at 175mhz for the core, so I bumped that up to 190. However, my memory slider starts at 1 mhz, and increases in 1 mhz increments from there. If I increase this even 1 mhz and hit Test Settings, my system crashes. So, I was just adjusting the core, and I check the "Apply Settings at Boot" box and the Apply button, then I hit OK. Every time I go back in there, the settings are back at the defaults, and there is no measureable gain. What's going on? Is this card just not overclockable because it is an OEM version?

Strange that you card crashes when OC'ing memory.
FYI OC'ing the memory gives by far the best result since the GF2 line of cards are li,ited by memory bandwith. Try running core at stock freq. and upping the mem.
