I've been using my credit card a lot lately its a VISA WELLS FARGO STUDENT CARD, I'm making good money and pay my credit card off in full everytime. The problem is my credit limit is ONLY 1K, I requested a higher limit about a month ago and got rejected :frown:. Today I cheked my credit card and say a $30 overlimit fee! Its not like I don't pay off my credit card or anything, its just i'm using it more fequently because I wanted to increase my credit.

I called them up and asked what was going on and i didn't get anywhere she said she tried to remove it but that would be the only time she could. But she said it didn't work. Who can I complain to? What can I do?

So...wait. Did you or did you not go over $1000 on your credit card this month?

If you did, then you have no excuse for complaining - you deserve it. If you didn't go over 1G then call them up and bitch.

$18 over it seems.

Then you owe the over-limit fee.

Keep better track of your credit, and get a card with a higher limit.

Wells Fargo is one of the least customer-service oriented companies I have ever had the displeasure to deal with.

I have a Yahoo Visa (underwritten by FirstUSA), and get stellar support, and a fixed 7.9%

It will show on your credit history, and it is a negative thing.

Will one kill you though?

No.
