I found this yesterday while googling for diskless setups. Seems promising.
Its a modified knoppix cd that has Folding built-in. From what I gathered all you need to do is edit the client.cfg file in the following directory to reflect your username and team name:
/home/knoppix/fold
then type:
foldoff
then:
foldon
to restart with your info.
You can also create a persistant directory on a hard drive or USB pen drive where you can save WUs so they aren't lost on a reboot. I think this can be done from the menu under System somewhere. I'm going to experiment more with it after I get my wireless issues solved.
