Is overclocking harware only possible thru the Windows OS?

I have never had any experience with overclocking before (mac guy), and becuase of this I want to know if it is possible to overclock the mac hardware via installing windows on the new macbooks?

A better way to phrase my questions are...

Is overclocking OS specific?
Can I overclock using the Mac OS?
Is is it possible to Overclock Mac hardware (Intel models) via installing windows?

I have an emachines. I use clockgen however its unreliable and not as stable as through the bios. Try using programs like setFSB. Your best bet is to replace your motherboard.
