overclocking

when overclocking is it a good idea to cool the ram modules and the south bridge as well. any other components that should be extra cooled other than the cpu and gpu?

if your northbridge has an active or large heatsink i wouldent worry about it. i dont think ram needs to have heatsinks unless you increase voltage way over spec. post you mb and cpu.

It is good idea to cool anything that became too hot. This might include the VGA card, northbridge, southbridge, power conversion transistors on the mainboard, RAM, hard drives and so on. Check the temperatures of the components and prepare for supplemental airflow or heating surfaces
