I just got the Gigabyte 8IRXP mb and a P4 1.6a CPU, and i'm wondering how far I can overclock it. I also have Samsung DDR333 ram, though the board supports up to DDR266.
Using the supplied EasyTune III software, I was able to overclock the FSB to 125mhz, thus raising CPU to 2000mhz, PCI to 41, and memory to DDR333. This seems to run fine, but I wonder if I should tweak the bios settings (fsb, divider, voltage), and/or do other things to make it run more reliably/stably, or even faster.
I'm new to overclocking, but not new to comps, so please go into as much detail as you want.
