Click to expand... even if intel doesn't officially support it seems to work fine http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/Z170-P-D3/Z170-P_D3_DRAM_QVL.pdf if you go by official specs you should also only run DDR4 2133 and no faster.
