I can't find any guidance for this problem anywhere. A google search produced some similar problems with other boards, but the only solutions they had involved a new bios. There is no new bios available for this board yet (it's the 128m btw).
I have a Phenom II x3 710 with the 4th core unlocked.
I enabled s3 sleep in bios, ACPI version 3.0. When I'm not overclocked, it resumes just fine. When I overclock slightly even (FSB at 210 or so) i immediately get this problem. After I resume the computer, it'll show the windows screen normally for 2 or 3 seconds then proceed to restart.
Here's what I've tried so far.
1. Disabled "resume video on repost" - nothing
2. Lower HT and NB clocks - nothing
3. Loosened memory timings - i have some OCZ pc8500 that runs at 800mhz default on this board anyway. I still loosened the timings to 6 - 6- 6- 24. Nothing.
4. disabled cool n quiet
5. tried enabling and/or disabling all the settings under "power" in bios.
I don't think he overclock is unstable since even slight overclocks cause problems and since it ran stable at 3 ghz with OCCT 1 hour.
