Overclocking with 5870 CF

I have two 5870s. I tried overclocking using MSI afterburner. At stock it is at core clock 850 and mem clock at 1200. I tried uping it by 10 percent, but cant really because the max is 900. Is that the max you can put it at because in that case even w/o overclock it is very fast. I tried uping it to 870 and noticed when i was web browsing i was seeing flickering. If you guys have any suggestions that be great. Thanks!
