overclocking winchester 3000 newbie

I've got a winchester 3000, 2x512 corsair value ram, and an A8N SLI Deluxe.

In the bios, i've lowered the memory to 266, the HTT to 4x, and raised the FSB to 240. I left the memory timings and voltage and everything else on auto.

I can hit this (2160) without a problem, but if I raise to 245, I get a blue screen. What should I try next to oc this a bit more?

Have you had a look at the OC guide at the top of this forum section? What's your RAM spec?

The ram is at 2.5-3-3-8
I'm now up to 258x9
I'm hitting a bit of a roadblock. Would changing the ram to 2.5-4-4-8 help me get higher than 2325? Would updating bios to 003 help?
