I have my Q6600 set to 9x333, But, when I am idle it runs at 6x333. Is this normal? And should I worry. Seems like a laptop function to me. but, if thats not affecting things in game or apps I am saving precious pennies, huh? Anyways, is this normal?

Speedstep in enabled (which is fine).

If you want to turn it off, you can in the bios: it's usually called C1E &/or Speedstep.

But if things work fine with it enabled, i'd leave it on.
