I have a motherboard w/o an AGP/PCI lock and am looking to push my system a little bit. I realize that when I bump the FSB, since there is no lock, it bumps up the AGP/PCI as well (linearly I guess).
I can overclock my 6600GT pretty well with software already. So if I reduce the video card back down to stock settings, should I be able to get a good amount of FSB overclock and let the FSB speed up the video card on its own?
I'm really confused about all this, and as you can probably tell, I've never overclocked my CPU/RAM before.
Here's my specs:
Asus K8V-X VIA K8T800
A64 3200+ S754 Newcastle
GeForce 6600GT
512 MB PC3200 Kingston HyperX
