Overclocking w/ Catalyst 3.6

I'm trying to overclock my 9700np using the 3.6 catalyst and radoverclocker, you know the one that comes with the Omega drivers.

So, I installed it and it shows up fine in the control panel, but when I overclock, it gives me the results I get at stock speeds.

Do I ahve to have the Omegas installed for the radclocker to work?

ok forget it, these drivers suck the big one!!!!!!!

Anyone else, have your system crash whenever you click on something with the 3.6 drivers!?

2fps increase in Quake 3 is not worth having my system crash everytime I try to get to the ATI control panel.

I've got Catalyst 3.6 installed on my Radeon 9700np and its working fine. I've got it OCed to 350/300 and no problems with my system crashing. I don't really notice any increase in performance though.

The system will hard lock when I try and get to the display properties then reboot itself. When Windows comes up, it tells me that the display driver for Radeon 9500/9700 series was at fault. "Display driver was unable to complete a drawing operation".

Never fails, everytime.
