I just got the 8KHA+ and a AMD 1800+ and was wondering how far you guys have oc'd this setup. So far I can only hit about 1.68 stable 11.5 x 145, but the system gets a bit moody at this speed so i've had to drop it down a notch. I've been reading about how you guys can hit 166 fsb, how do you guys do that, i'd love to see those kind of results on my system. my rig is as follows:

Epox 8kha+
AMD 1800+
512 PC2100 DDR
Adaptec 29160
Creative Audigy MP3+
D-Link NIC
ATI AIW Radeon
2 SCSI 36 GB Fujitsu Hard Drives
12/10/32 Plextor
40x Plextor
16x Pioneer DVD

well unfortunately not all things are created equal...so this could be your cpu or the chipset itself and possibly the ddr and even a slight influence from each...the first 8kha+ i recieved would not run over default fsb of 133 with out sticking ...and then the 2nd dimm went out on it altogether....so thats an extreme....but that was right out of the box....i have ordered two more but they wont be around till tomorrow.

one thing i did notice was the effect the brand of ddr had on the previous board i was using with my 1800....also an epox , but the 8k7a...mushkin ddr wouldnt go over 135...infact 135 didnt run stable all the time....so i ordered the cheapest crucial ddr and it hit 153 on the same setup.

if your not using crucial get it...also i have read that the adaptec scsi controllers have cause OC problems for some while others say theirs work fine with high fsb setting....its not an exact science and you'll have to try different things to get your particular system to reach its full potential which unfortunatly may not be as aggressive as some of the posts you read here and in the revues...but thats OC'ing
