Overclocking Vanta's .... worth it?

I have an Asus Vanta64 video card. Its AGP and has only 8 MB RAM. I downloaded Power Strip and I see that the Stock Core is 115 and the SDRAM Memory is 140. I have a chipset heatsink which came from a dead VIA mobo. It totally fits on the pin holes to mount, I used some Arctic Silver 3 and placed the heatsink on it. Now I'm trying to overclock to 130Cr/160Mem. It plays Ghost Recon pretty well for a card that old. Should I push the envelope and go even further? I think I can make 145Cr/175Mem, would I need a fan?

heh, vanta. I have one of those, I took it apart (literally... it's no more). If you really think it'll help, see how far you can get until you see artifacts, then slow it down to safe parameters. If you feel like getting a fan, go ahead, but see how far you can get w/o one first.

Overclock it 'til it glows red! Killing it would be doing yourself a favour. ;) :)

LOL! Ya take a look at this hot mama, I have one, works sweet with MAX details at 1200x1024 on JK2. Either version would be MUCH better than what you are currently using.

Oh lala Video Card
