Overclocking the P4 1.8A

I recently overclocked my p4 northwood 1.8Aghz to 2.2ghz (125mhz fsb) with the same setup as listed below with no problem, but I had an SB Live! PCI sound card. I had to give that card back to my friend, and when I switched to onboard audio, AC97 chip, the sound no longer worked. When I decreased the clock spead back to default (1.8/100) the sound worked again. Is this normal? Should I just buy a PCI sound card so I can overclock or is there a way to work around this ? Also, would I yield any higher OC'ing if I were to put PC1066 RDRAM in this board, the board supports it, but i currently have pc800 rdram in it...
thanks

weird, dont know much about your sound problem. RDRAM is sensitive to fsb, so you wouldnt yield any more overlock if you got pc1066.
