overclocking the ati

can you overclock ati cards by just going into the display properties and changiing the clock settings?? if so where can i get the download to open up the clock settings??

sorry newbie with ati cards always liked geforce cards till recently

Download this and it will let you change the videocard's clock speeds in ATI Control Panel (Display Properties --> advanced) under RadLinker. I wouldnt recommend overclocking GPU or Memory more than 10% if you are a newbie.....go 6-8% even. First overclock the GPU or Memory in isolation, then the other. And together combine the speeds for a maximum overclock.

I think omega will include radlinker in the next set of drivers.
