I am looking to overclock the system I built, and I am wondering if anyone has a system with the same specs and can suggest some settings. Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can provide. Here is an inventory of my machine:

AMD Athlon T-Bird 1.4 Ghz Processor AYHJA Stepping
Epox 8K7a+ Motherboard
512 MB Crucial PC2100 Ram
Visiontek Geforce3
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz
2x40GB HDD in Raid Array
Plextor 8x4x32 CD-Burner
16X DVD-Rom Drive
3Com NIC
Excellent CPU Fan, Slot Fan on GeForce3, Round Cabling.

I had the same core setup as you (CPU, mobo, RAM)+NIC and was able to get my 1.33 AYHJA Y to 1.54@default voltage with an SK-6 by setting the DIP switch multiplier to 11 and jumper the fsb to 133>>to140 in BIOS. Ran like a top with agressive RAM timings.

I've been looking to get a 1.4Ghz T-Bird myself and according to the CPU Database , the 1.4 should do 1.6 (12X133 or 11.5X139) easily. Actual OC depends on too many factors, so YMMV...

What kind of power supply do you have?
Where did you get your CPU & did you have to pay extra for AYHJA stepping?

I do not know the brand of my power supply, but it is a 400W. I got it from Newegg, and did not pay more for AYHJA stepping.
