Overclocking Sempron 2200

I'm running a sempron 2200 on an asus a7n8x d rev 1.04 mb, which does support a 400mhz FSB. I know the proc can be pushed up to 2ghz+... The problem is that I have one 512mb stick of corsair pc3200 value RAM, and two 512mb sticks of kingston pc2700 value RAM (thank you best buy coupon 😉).

Can I push the CPU & memory higher? Thx

I pushed some kingston pc2700 value ram to DDR400 but it required 3-4-4 timings... That said, I tested tighter timings in superpi 1m (that was the most I could do with anything tighter than 3-4-4) and the difference wasnt that great.

even if you cant do DDR400 going to 380 or 390 will give you a good performance boost. Dont forget to raise your ram voltage, by the way. Also, if your overclock is not much higher than 2GHz then you could also drop your vcore to like 1.55 to lower the heat.
