ok, my system is running stable at 200X11.5 (a7n8x del, amd 3000) 1.775 vcore.

when i first did my overclock, my temps were higher, now, about 3-4 weeks later, my idle temps are at 39, and full load is about 42. why has my system cooled down??? it's not better air conditioning, my cpu just doesnt run as hot. what's the deal? can i overclock more now?

thanks

it's definitely not environment related, if anything, it was cooler in my house 3 weeks ago than it is right now in my dorm room, does this mean i can go higher with my overclock???

Well if you had applied some kind of thermal compound, it may have taken that time to cure. I never really noticed a temp drop, but many others say it should be expected.

only one way to find out.... just give it a shot and see what happens. at worst, you'll change your system cpu speed settings back to what it currently is right now.

good luck! 🙂
