Overclocking Results for E4300 + GSkill PC2-6400 2x1GB DDR2 Micron D9 chips

After much experimentation and spending all most 2 nights to Overclock my system, here I am posting my best overclock for my CPU and the GSkill 6400 Ram.

e4300 running @ 3.52 (though the best it can do on my system is 3.55 Ghz)

Gskill 800Mhz Ram @ 1248Mhz with timings of 5-5-5-15 2T @ 2.35V

Amazing chip, but for some reason the RAM doesnt work at lower latency and high overclock at the same time. With lower latency timing of 4-4-4-12 the best i was able to get was 1040Mhz @ 2.35V

Anyways attaching the screenshot of the overclock of the Ram.

This was just for testing purpose, for 24/7 use I am running it at 1150Mhz 5-5-5-15 2T @ 2.17V

Yup thats true....E4300 is a totally VFM proccy, alongwith the RAM and alongwith the P5NE SLI board, alongwith the TRUE....hahahaha....

Any comments from the AT community members...?

You know who I am talking to, don't you...?

Great job, thebanik!

BTW, you've been using the same modules as in my sig, correct?

yup, the ram is the same(btw ninety percent of these are D9 micron chip, and mine is for sure)....didnt understand what you were referring to in the first 2 lines...

1) all the GSkill HZ use D9GMH now. Everything you can buy retail will be the black PCB with D9.

2) I think he was referring to people who were bashing GSkill memory because it was like $30 more than some "value memory" that "sometimes overclocks to 550Mhz"

Banik,

I have the same ram and ended up at the same timings on it. Stuck at 2250 until I relaxed the timings.

which divider did you use?

No problem with 602MHz on Kingston N5 DDR2 800 ValueRAM. Only 2.1Vdimm with 5-5-5-15-2T timing. Slowest stick is good up to 580MHz with 2.1V/5-5-5-18-2T. 2.0V is my comfort zone with any DDR2 RAM. Any quality 1.8V JEDEC DDR2 800 will be able to hit 450MHz with 2.0V/4-4-4-12-2T timing.

You know, that's about the 100th time I've seen you post that same speech. Happen to have a screenshot of your value RAM doing 602 Mhz, preferably with Orthos large FFT's running?

Hmmm...you want to attend my overclocking 101 class? Tests performed during summer in 85F ambient.

Your link's no good, so I guess that means you have no screenshot, huh? BTW, no, I don't want to show you how to overclock. I can say this, though: if you were such an awesome overclocker, I think we'd be seeing you in the overclocking forum more than once every quarter.

Well...Troll that's your problem.

So, you're admitting that your value RAM won't do what you've been claiming all these months?

edit: The entire abit-usa site seems to be down, try posting the actual link to the image.😉

yup its true, why do you have to post a link to a website, simply take a screenshot of your CPUZ screen and post it here.
