Hey all:

-My 1700+ is now @ 2.1 ghz (may feel the need to push it up later..who knows), STOCk Voltage (1.55V...1.5V actual), Temps <38C, Ram @ 2-2-2-5 :D
Seti Times are about 2:10- 2:30....perhaps next week when i get time..more more more?

The real Gem....

-My P4C 2.8 ghz system that i lovingly bought and put together for a monster system....only to find out it hit 82C full load @ 2.8:Q...well..now it runs 40C full load @ 3.2 ghz....Stock Voltage (1.525V...1.471Actual) with ram @ 230mhz....Seti Driver is predicting 2:30 total time on a 89% completed set of Wu's....wow! Much better than 4:30 for 2 Wus' ;)

Tehheheheh..i'm giddy with joy. Yay! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Next week i will probably lose proudction with stability testing but still..yay!..hehe

Sorry for the self-congratulation i'm doing. just excited that both overclocking attempts are working out so well.

Sounds great :)

Why did your P4C system run@82C ? Faulty cooling or what?

I presume the 2:30 time for your P4 is HT enabled (2 WU in that time)!

Not true. As pointed out to me in another thread the second thread in HyperThreading is limited by available execution resources. And in Seti the first thread (being top priority in a way) get the full pipeline and it's resources where the second thread has to make do. Typically this yields an additional 30-40%.

I don't know what kind of Wu's they were

I sort of leave seti alone...dont even use a queue of any sort, just Seti driver..:D

Any way i can get an output of say...the times of my last 30 WU's for example?

The Log created with Seti Driver is enabled but i dont' know what to make of it

The production is going to be really shaky over the course of the upcoming week as i take the pcs to their max. Lot of stability testing and not much crunching...well..;)

Right now on the P4C rig i have about 6 programs running that all want 50% of the resources so its amsuing seeing them fight for cycles. I'm tossing everything i can at it to make sure its rock hard stable

16 WU's a day isnt out of the question for a 3.2ghz P4 with HT enabled...

16 x 1.5 hrs = 24hrs, so if he averages 3hrs per 2 WU, he is g2g

Get SETIWATCH, it reads the log file created by SETIDRIVER and puts it in a nice format. :D

Or you can point SETIDRIVER to a Team SETIQ, and they have the stats for the WUs. :)
