Overclocking ram

I have a 2500+ paired with Corsair 512mb 2700ddr. I want to take my 2500+ to 3200+ once I get a proper HSF, but i'm wary to clock my ram to 200FSB. My chip is unlocked so I can use mulitpliers, but the performance gain won't be as great.

If I clock my ram higher, will it lower it's life expectancy? Can it overheat? I want to overclock, but I don't want to jeopardize my system, let me know on what to do. Thanks.

try to get it as far as it can go if you see any blue screens or random shut downs clock it back a little
dont wory about the heat if you got good case cooling you dont need to put a heat sink on the ram
and yes it will lower it's life expectancy but by the time that hapens the chances are you will have a new compter

It won't lower the life expectancy if you can still keep the temperatures the same as if you didn't OC it.

I don't think your RAM will go to 200 fsb, though.
