well i cant do anything over 1.75vcore and 180fsb on my barton 2800. if i do go over, it just wont boot and requires cmos reset, and ideas here? (ram @ 2.65v and AGP@1.6 these are the highest settings) and in cpu-z under FSB
RAM it has 5:6 im not too up to date on what this means someone care to explain? is this a good configuration for overclocking?
Also, i have 512mb of Corsair xms 3200LL in it right now. im aiming to buy 2x256 to put in the other 2 slots for it to work in dual channel mode. i have a generic 512mb ram just sitting there. if i put this in with the Xms 3200 would i see a performance increase? is it worth it?
and finally if i do buy 2x256 modules i want my investment to as far as possible as im planning on buying a PCI-E rig in december/january. and these require ddr2, i dont want to go and have to buy more ram again, but im seeing that some mobo's coming out have ddr1 and ddr2 interfaces wil they be widespread? will these infaces be available on the s939 A64's in future?
thanks for your time.
