overclocking radeon

ok i have a radeon Gigabyte 9600pro when i first used the v-tuner utility that gigabyte threw in i achived speeds of 481mhz core and 332mhz mem i thought i could go a little higher. i downloaded powerstrip then got it up to 500mhz core but i cant up the memory anymore if i make it 1mhz more over the default the screen is all stuffed up. can i achieve 332mhz and 500core? or do i have to stick with a lower core and a slightly higher mem (default mem at 297mhz)

is it limited by the SDRAM? or the mobo? (im doing comp overhaul soon)

will i get better results with 481core/332mem or 500core/297mem?

trigem santa fe mobo, agp 4x
athlon 1.2ghz
768mb SDRAM
radeon 9600pro

You'll get better results with 481core/332memory because its always said the the most performance is gained through memory overclocking. That is pretty weird how you cant overclock the memory with powerstrip though. I think powerstrip sux cause when I overclock I like to do it by 5's and not 1's damnit!
