RivaTuner is great, but I never use it for overclocking, you should get coolbits it will add overclocking ability to your nvidia control panel, it has an autodetect feature, that should be a good place to start. Only do this after you have read and understand this, "I am in no way, shape, or form liable or in any way responsible for you destroying your videocard or anything else in your computer, room, house, town, city, state, country or life by giving you this information, this all comes to you "as is" and at your own risk"

I am not to smart about your particular card, I have no idea if it has temp monitoring capabilities, if it does I think that it would be right there in the nvidia control panel, and I have no idea about its voltage needs, 300 watts may or may not be enough...I am not sure. if your card starts to display artifacts, then I think that is a sign of the mem overheating, if it starts to lock up then I think that is a sign of the core overheating, if either of these happen just turn down the clocks a bit, remember to increase the speeds in small (5-10) mhz increaments and please post back with some results...GOOD LUCK AND BE CAREFULL.

Coolbits would be a better tool than rivaturner in terms of overclocking. Synthetic tests like 3Dmark 03 and 05 are good choices to test out if you went too far on your overclock. You can even loop the tests or use RTHDRIBL to see how stable it is until it begins to artifact which means you went too far on the overclock. Usually, artifacts are caused by going too high on the core and color distortions are when you go too high on the memory. You can monitor your temps by going to Nvidia Display and clicking on Temperature settings. Apparently, you can also record your temps using Rivaturner while you are say, playing a game.

The 300W PSU might or might not be a problem, depending if it is a reputable brand and on how many components your rig is running. My 400W is barely sufficient, if I get a more power hungry card, I probably have to change it or not overclock it.

Be careful and good luck!
