Ok, so my question is, what is causing my lockups? If the computer will boot into windows, but then locks up is it just a heat/voltage issue? Or could there be other factors and no matter how much cooling I have it will freeze?

EDIT: in response to the memory question; the board has a 5:4 bus divider. So the memory is only running at 200mhz when the CPU is at 250mhz bus.

It could just be the limit of the chip. Try upping the voltage a bit. How are you cooling it???

Since your running at ~250MHz FSB and have 433MHz memory, I must ask what speed are you running your memory at?

Try upping the CPU voltage a little bit, and then start backing off the FSB 1 mhz at a time if you can until it's stable. I wouldn't recomend going more than about .1v over the default on a p4. Could also be your temps, what are you using for a heatsink?
