Overclocking Question Quick!

I fried my mobo but I sent for both a new CPU and Mobo from Newegg. Now I can only over clock to 2100 compared to my previous 2250. Is this ok? Like sometimes the same model of chip just can't be pushed that far right? I'm running Athlon 2100 XP w/ Asus A7N8X Dlx.

Exactly!

You might get flamed for this..............too many loyal newegg'ers here.

I WAS OVERCLOCKING BUT I DID NOT FRY IT DUE TO OVERCLOCKING. It fried due to other reasons. GOSH CALM URSELF. I DIDN"T EVEN TOUCH THE VCORE OR NOTHING. SHEESH I'M NOT THAT DISHONEST. SO THERE. NOW can someone answer my question?

Yes, there is a lot of variation even within steppings. Even weeks really vary. Overclocking success is hardly guaranteed...
